MFT CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Providing therapy supervision
Are you a recent MFT Graduate in need of Clinical Supervision?
Finding a suitable MFT supervisor can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack.
If you have recently completed your master’s degree or experienced a change in supervision, you may be feeling a sense of urgency to get started with clinical supervision. That’s where I come in!
About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and I work clinically with individuals, couples, and families presenting with a variety of presenting issues. I am also a Texas-approved clinical supervisor. There are few MFT supervisors in Texas and I am motivated to advance the field. I am an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor Candidate (under supervisory mentorship) and I offer individual clinical supervision to MFT Associates on a weekly basis. I am excited at the prospect of journeying with you toward full licensure!
If Things Move Forward, What Paperwork is Required?
The paperwork process is two-fold:
1. If we decide to work together, we will have a supervisory contract that outlines the parameters of our relationship, general agreements, fees,
ethics outlined by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), etc.
2. You must have a supervisor contract filed with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TX BHEC) before you submit your paperwork for your provisional license. Please download this form required by the state of Texas that must be approved prior to accruing your clinical hours. Once the contract is approved by the TX BHEC, you may begin seeing clients and accruing your hours toward licensure. I look forward to hearing from you as you embark on your journey toward becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist!
